Eligibility & Age

Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility conditions to be considered for appointment as an Anganwadi Helper:

• Educational Qualification: 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized board/institution.
• Locality Requirement: The candidate must be a resident of the same village (rural) or ward (urban) where the Anganwadi centre is located.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 01 July 2025. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.

Salary & Allowances

Selected candidates will be appointed as Anganwadi Helpers and will be paid a monthly honorarium. Typical pay-scale reported across district notifications is:

• Monthly Honorarium: ₹3,500 – ₹4,000 (approx.)
• Allowances: As per government norms, where applicable

Selection Process

1. Merit List: Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the 12th standard (or equivalent).
